The G.C.E.A.’s Vocal Ensemble Regina Pacis started in October 2001 and its main purpose was to promote the wide selection of Portuguese Renaissance music, though it also plays other musical genres.
In Madeira Island there is no-other group with its characteristics. Teacher Zélia Gomes has been the group’s artistic director since its beginning.
